Just finished another new ignition system for the Harley-Davidson MX250 that will also fit Cagiva models based on the same engine design. It replaces the original Dansi or Motoplat ignition delivered when new.

The new build will be available with or without lights in the US before the end of June 2026. The rotor is 760g/26.8oz. US pricing (incl tariff) is $584.95 plus shipping. Add $45 for lighting capability.

Shipping to Canada and European countries will be subject to regular import costs specific to the country, but pricing could be lower since US tariffs would not be applied.

Delivering the first new CanAm Qualifier ignition with all new heavy rotor. Thanks to Jeff Weber we were able to correct the fitment on the 1.24kg rotor and design a new 2kg rotor that is much closer to the original rotor weight that came in the Bosch ignition system of the 250, 370, 400 Rotax engines from 1974 to 1982. Undoubtedly, this rotor will keep your bike running well into the future with the familiar handling of the Enduro as it was designed. We still recommend the 1.24kg rotor for the MX bikes that have the large crank.

Kit #811279900 comes with everything you need including DC regulator and the rotor puller for the new kit. Lead time is about 10 days. US pricing $629 + shipping. Could be less to Canada and elsewhere w/o US tariffs
