Bitter sweet Saturday as we delivered this 54 3100 back to the customer. Just in time to be used in his daughter’s wedding that afternoon. He’s owned it for 25 years. Had not run in over 10. We got the motor pulled, refreshed, painted up to match the truck and tuned up. Detailed the truck and had a friend make some bed sides for it. Customer was overwhelmed. The reason we do what we do.

Very productive today today. Engine bay painted. Short block complete. Distributor rebuilt. Bellhousing installed with new clutch assembly. Monday morning is another day to finish up the install. Can’t wait to get this dialed in and tuned. The work that has gone into this from my team has not gone unnoticed. While we are just a part time shop we will leave no detail out of any project big or small.

Some small upgrades to make this 55 more enjoyable to drive and safer at night. Stock appearance fluted headlights with modern LED conversion and replacing the original shifter bushings with new. Major improvement not searching for gears anymore.

Engine bay in Capri stripped and prepped for paint. Completely removed the MSD ignition, 3 step rev control and timing re**rd set up for the nitrous. Aeromotove fuel system coming out along with Eibach drag launch springs. 289 getting a dual sump pan and Holley mechanical fuel pump to attach to the dumped tank with new AN lines. Tomorrow’s project wrapping wiring harness after all aftermarket wiring removed. More to come.

New project to reassemble. Solid original survivor low mileage 64 rambler classic. Needs a mechanical once over including engine overhaul. This one’s going to be stock, and once completed for sale at a reasonable price. Best part about our love of classing cars is finding them, and getting them back on the road.
