From a pile of parts to Barrett-Jackson. Who would have thought that a vehicle Rob’s Auto Paint and I started in my parents garage would end up going across the block in Las Vegas? What a wild ride it has been. Keep an eye out for lot 768 getting auctioned off live at Barrett Jackson tomorrow in Las Vegas. I’m thinking sometime between noon and three. Any guesses on what it will go for?

Every day is a car show around here. It has been a busy spring. Here’s a look at a few of the cars that have come through the shop this season.

What an experience it was building this car. Tons of custom fab work went into this one. To the untrained eye it may not seem like it but it will have anyone who knows these cars scratching their heads. Can’t wait to see it out in the wild!

Another PSA on this wonderful Friday. Don’t do that… or that…

04/02/2026

Today’s PSA from Blue Ribbon Customs is about fuel lines!

If your fuel line goes from steel to rubber it should always have a barb. Never cut a line and just shove a hose over it.

Also, a kinked fuel line will dramatically reduce the amount of fuel getting to your engine and can cause catastrophic failures.

Lastly, it is a good idea to inspect your fuel system once a year and make sure the clamps are tight and the lines are in good working condition. Rubber fuel hoses have a tendency to harden and become brittle over time which can lead to fuel leaks or worse.

Give us a shout or stop by and we will make sure your fuel system is ready for the 2026 hot rod season!
