One of the main reasons why getting rid of safety inspections is possibly the worse idea our state could have. Everyone just says it’s how we mechanics make money. No it’s how we keep people on the road safe. This is a 2010 vehicle owned and operated in PA. A portion of the frame is rotted where a crucial suspension component attaches too. I’m not making any money off this vehicle and actually stopped the repair I was about to do on the power steering to inform them of the damage… inspection is due on this vehicle next month. I see this happen a lot on vehicles newer than this aswell and the owners never even know it until their annual state inspection!!
