Most EVs (Tesla, Rivian, and others) also have a small 12-volt battery. When it dies, the whole car can go dark, even with a full charge on the main pack.

That's what happened to this Rivian on a dark Elbert County road. Our crew rolled up, hooked up the jump pack, and had them back on the road. 🙌

Project Update: CO 86 Kiowa Bridge Replacement

Expect Traffic Pattern Shift the week of October 19

Crews are expected to continue work on the bridge rail and begin removing temporary materials used during earlier bridge construction. Crews will also continue work on the roadway connections to the new bridge as the project moves closer to completion.

Motorists should expect slower speeds and brief delays during the change. Please follow posted signs, watch for flaggers, and use caution through the work zone.

We even had an unexpected visit from Elizabeth Police Department Colorado. They had some good safety tips on what to do at a traffic stop, and awareness about distracted driving.
