Scam #1 Car purchased, receives Texas title and Texas plates but it was registered in Mexico making it ineligible to return. If there’s a way, let me know

Scam #2 Knowledgeable buyer plugs scanner in, verifies that all VIN mach the title, gets a copy of registered Owners ID along with a signed bill of sale withdrawals the $40,000 cash, pays owner then goes to register at NM MVD Absolutely EVERYTHING is fake and vehicle was stolen so impounded by Sheriff. Now they are trying to buy again at Copart Auction

Recommendation:  seller and buyer should go to DMV together A con artist would refuse. Sadly this is the world we’re living in. Let’s work together to protect each other.
