Topping off your coolant every few weeks is not a routine maintenance, your engine is telling you something is wrong- and topping it off is how you stop listening.

Your cooling system is a sealed closed loop. Collant does not get consumed like fuel,under normal conditions it should stay at the same level for months at a time. If it keeps dropping the coolsnt has to be doing somewhere-a cracked hose, leak in yoir radiator ,a failing water pump or seal ,or worst of all a failing head gasket . None of those problems will get solved by topping off your coolant reservoir. They get worse silently, while your engine runs progressively hotter each time the level drops.

A coolant leak caught early can run you from $100 to $500 to fix depending where the leak is. Ahead gasket failure from an ignored cooling system can run from $1500 to $3000. The coolant level dropping is NOT A MAINTENANCE TASK. IT IS A WARNING ⚠️. TREAT IT LIKE ONE..

Regularly driving down to the low fuel light is NOT just cutting it close. Your fuel pump uses the fuel around it to cool itself and running it dry burns it out.Your fuel pump sits inside your fuel tank and is cooled by the fuel flowing through it. When you are low in fuel ,the fuel pump starts drawing in air instead of fuel. air is a terrible coolant. The electric motor inside the fuel pump can overheat and can cause the fuel pump to wear out. On top of that the bottom of your fuel tank collects dirt,rust ,debris that is sucked up by fuel pump when fuel is low.
A fuel pump replacement can easily cost you over $500 .
KEEP YOUR TANK ABOVE A QUARTER FULL . The low fuel light is a WARNING ⚠️ not a challenge.
