Lexus officially announced the 2027 Lexus NX, marking a transition to a 100% electrified lineup with Hybrid (HEV) and Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) powertrains across four core trims: Premium, Premium+, F SPORT, and Luxury. Expected to hit global markets by the end of 2026, the updated luxury compact crossover features significant dynamic tuning, battery advancements, and interior upgrades.

Powertrain & Charging
• 100% Electrified: Gas-only engines are dropped; offered strictly as Hybrid (HEV) or Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) in Premium, Premium+, F SPORT, and Luxury trims.
• Upgraded PHEV Tech: The NX 450h+ gets a 30% larger battery capacity (40+ miles estimated EV range), standard DC fast charging, and a power charge port door.
• Next-Gen E-Four AWD: Uses a lighter e-Axle with silicon carbide semiconductors and continuous, always-on AWD for improved efficiency and traction.

Chassis & Dynamics
• Rigidity & Suspension: Structural floor reinforcements and new ultra-low-speed shock absorber valves reduce road noise and body roll.
• Steering & Braking: Features a smaller 14.2-inch wheel, variable-ratio steering gear, and cornering brake control to stabilize yaw during abrupt turns.

Cabin & Styling
• Standard Tech: A 14-inch touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster are now standard on all grades.
• Sensory Concierge: High-tier grades add an integrated lighting, sound, and fragrance system.
• Refined Look: Blacked-out exterior trim replaces chrome, introducing new Double L-signature taillamps and two new colors (Shaded Ivy and Incognito).
• Safety: Upgraded to standard Lexus Safety System+ 4.0.
