After hours, the shop’s dead quiet—until a white car rolls in, headlights slicing through stacks of worn rubber and a brand-new set sitting dead center like bait. A folded note on the windshield: “Mount these—no questions—cash under the jack.”

The mechanic pockets the note, checks the floor… then glances at the open roll-up door.
