Our 60-acre campus features over 3,000 low-mile, high-quality domestic and imported units, ten years old and newer. The Y-Yard Auto & Truck Inc is a state of the art automotive recycling center located in Effingham, Illinois. Opening our doors on July 1, 1970, the Y-Yard’s massive inventory occupies over 45 acres of the company’s 60 acre business. From domestic to import, cars-trucks-vans-and SUV’

s, we continually strive at redefining the expectations of a recycled part. From product purchase thru the inventory process to warehousing the parts and to the point of sale, our completely computerized systems provide fast answers in the most efficient ways. We provide multiple avenues for nationwide parts locating, as well as a variety of options for state wide delivery. For over 40 years now, the Y-Yard continues to be a locally owned, locally operated business. Managed now by the second generation, the foundation of the business remains the same; a business built on hard work, honesty and integrity but the most important priority has always been customer satisfaction. For the past 42 years, the employees at the Y-Yard have always worked with the customer's best interests in mind. We would like to take this opportunity to restate our goals in trying to provide our customers with the highest level of quality and service of products. We process each and every part with pride! Provide the highest quality & description of parts. Fast, friendly service. All parts are inspected 6 times before reaching the customer. We have a massive inventory that spans over 45 acres, and expanding daily! With our dependable, on-time delivery, we deliver what we promise!

Last night’s storms left a devastating impact on many families and communities throughout our area. While we are incredibly grateful that Y-Yard was spared from significant damage, our hearts are heavy for those who lost homes, property, and treasured belongings.
To our friends, customers, employees, vendors, and neighbors who have been affected, please know that you are not facing this alone. Small towns and rural communities have always shown incredible strength in difficult times, and we have no doubt that strength will shine through again.
For more than 55 years, Y-Yard has been proud to call this community home. Today, we stand with those who are hurting, those beginning the difficult cleanup process, and those working tirelessly to help others recover.
Please keep the affected families, first responders, utility crews, and volunteers in your thoughts and prayers. If there are specific needs within our community that we can help share or support, please reach out to us.
