Cross Auto Body & Towing 24/7 towing and full service auto repair facility. Over 40 years in business and still going strong. Since then, we have grown even more!

Gary and Terry Cross started our auto body collision repair business in a garage at their parents house. Later, their brother Craig Cross joined the business and he brought the idea of adding towing to the services that we offer. Due to the quality of our work, and word of mouth, the business soon outgrew the garage and we moved just down the road from our original location to a bigger shop. We no

w have 12 full time employees and 7 tow trucks. However, we still offer the same family oriented service that you have come to know and expect. In 2016 we celebrated our 40th year in business.

Due to a power outage in the southeastern section of town (Troy Rd area) some traffic signals are dark. Remember a dark intersection should be treated as a 4 way stop. Ameren is working to restore power, use caution and have patience on the roadways.

Madison County: Beginning at 7:30 a.m. Monday, May 11, emergency bridge deck repairs over I-270 will require closure of the southbound I-255 collector-distributor lane to eastbound I-270 in Pontoon Beach. The ramp from westbound I-270 to southbound I-255 will close as needed. Detours will use westbound I-270, Illinois 111, and eastbound I-270. All lanes are expected to reopen by 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 15.

Welcome new truck 3 to the fleet. Chris finally got to take out his new truck today and I think he is quite happy. When a good deal presents itself, you take it. So we are now proud owners of a new 2024 Ram 5500 with a Century 2465 wrecker bed. Another throwback design was done, rebirthing a stripe design used on a wrecker Terry Cross drove back in the 90’s. Once again thanks goes out to Purpose Wrecker Sales for the excellent deal made for the truck, and ADgraphix - St. Louis for the quick turn around on the graphics.
