Well, guess I can check this off the "never done it" list. RV comes in, no park. education time... back in the day General Motors built vehicles as what they called and incomplete MPV or " multi purpose vehicle " most of these were built with only a driveline brake for parking purposes. well today we changed that for a special customer, none other than my parents. and unfortunately alot of companies have dis continued parts for such things. so today we added park to this 4L80E transmission that never once in its life had it! vague pictures to follow! hope you enjoy!

Very neat little diamond in the rough here, 68,000 original miles on the car! We have been doing a little work to over the past few months, and from the vehicle owners text,"the air hasn't blown cold in his Firebird in 21 years! we'll Doug Rohr , you are now in business! As you all know. we are one of few shops in the KC metro area that specializes in differential repair. But sometimes they come in unrepairable, so we have to rely on quality used parts with a 12Mo/12k warranty. on this unit we went as far as removing rear cover and cleaning for inspection. topped off with lucas synthetic gear oil. thanks for looking. Long post here, But here is a 2012 Hemi out of a 1500 Dodge Ram pickup. This truck came in with a cylinder 3 misfire, we quickly and correctly diagnosed this problem knowing the nature of these engines. After Removing the left valve cover and rotating the engine we found the intake rocker on #3 was not coming up on "full lift" we immediately knew what was wrong! These engines are prone to lifter failure and will wipe out the cam as you see in pictures below! Now Normally we just replace the entire engine but this customer wanted his fixed. With the help of BTR we were able to get all OEM parts and upgrade the lifters to Dodge Hellcat non DOD style lifters this engine has been fully Dod/afm Deleted! This customer claims he has kept up on oil changes using full synthetic valvoline and it shows due to how clean the internals were and how good the cross hatching looked in the cylinders at 144k But spite the fact it has been well maintained sadly this is a common issue for the dodge hemi. Couple photos of a very clean 2011 3500 GMC we work on here at JR's This truck came in needing rear brakes. we replaced parking brake shoes/ Hardware. Both rear rotors, Calipers, along with Pads and hardware and a Comple Brake system Flush! Here are some photos of a 2008 Toyota tundra timing belt and tune up job we did today. This was definitely a big timing belt job! Definitely not for novice technicians! This job required removal of radiator, ac compressor, p/s pump, and alternator just to get to timing belt covers! We completed this job using only Gates quality parts! Thanks for looking!
