A couple of years ago, I recorded this quick video of a 1969 Chevelle as it was nearing completion in my shop. The owner and I quickly became good friends and have been so for several years now. Today I received a phone call letting me know he passed away this morning. Dave Dolezal was a good friend a good man worth knowing. He will be greatly missed. It was a pleasure knowing you, Dave.

Well, I guess we’re getting pretty good at these cab off motor swaps. This is my personal F150, pulling the old motor to prepare for the new one. We’ll have to wait a few days to put the new motor in. I found a few issues. I’m going to fix before I put the cab back on. I also pulled the pan on the old motor to see exactly what locked it up.. Nice little chunk of the timing chain and guides.
