25 years ago today, we woke up in a changed world. The attacks of September 11, 2001 on the World Trade Center, The Pentagon and the crash of Flight 93 shattered our assumption of safety in America. As we pledge to Never Forget those who lost their lives or loved ones, those who run toward the danger, and those who continue to suffer from exposure related illnesses. Let us also remember how Americans came together, in the darkest moments the best of people can shine through.
