2019 Chevy Silverado LD with the Gen 5 5.3ltr. and the 8L90 transmission.
Vehicle was towed in.
Customer states that while driving down the highway that they heard a high pitched noise coming from the front. Upon pulling to a safe location to stop, they saw fluid leaking from the engine area.
Upon inspection, we found that the water pump had failed. The pumps internal bearing failed and began sending metal through the coolant system.
Rather than just replacement of the water pump, we replaced the entire assembly, flushed the engine, radiator, heater core and all hoses to remove debris.
Last picture is of completion before reinstalling the engine intake ductwork.

2017 Hyundai Elantra with the 2.0 engine and 2F560 automatic transmission..
Customer states that when driving at highway speeds that the check engine light would come on, and the engine would sputter.
A pre scan of the vehicle revealed no DTC codes active or stored in history.
Emissions data, misfire data, and fuel trim levels were all in spec..
Yet. Upon test drive, the same condition was noticed..
Checking live stream data during testing we could see a slight misfire on cylinder 3. Not enough for the engine PCM to register an issue but enough to effect driveability.
Pulled ignition coils and plugs for inspection.
Found heavy corrosion on the top of cylinder 3 spark plug and a damaged spring inside the ignition coil.
At idle or light throttle it would operate, but any more than 50% throttle would cause enough load for the plug to stop firing.
Compression test passed, no engine coolant entering cylinders. Common problem with these engines.
Removed and replaced the remaining spark plugs and ignition coils.
Retested, and the condition is resolved.
All PCM monitors come back clean and everything is functioning properly. .

Is this heat/humidity getting you frustrated?
AC not working?

Let us handle that for you..
Pictured from today is a 2013 Ford F150 with the 5.0 liter engine and automatic transmission.

Vehicle came in with the AC inoperative.
Inspection revealed a leaking condenser, and a compressor that could no longer produce enough pressure to run the system.

Solution.
Removed the faulty components. Flushed the evaporator core, flushed the lines, replaced all the seals and orings.
Replaced the compressor and condenser.
Vacuum tested and charged the system.

Last picture shows the temperature of air coming from the vents where the outside air temperature was currently 96 degrees F, with 71% humidity.

Contact us for AC repairs as well as all your vehicle needs.

2014 Chevy Impala with the 3.6 liter engine and a 6T70 transmission.
Customer states that approximately 2 weeks after getting new tires installed on their vehicle they began to hear a roaring noise coming from the inside of the car.

Vehicle inspection revealed the following;
Wheel lug nuts tightened far beyond the specifications.
Factory specification for this vehicle is 100 ft. Lbs.
Actual break away torque required to remove the lug nuts was between 180, and 344 ft. Lbs. 👀 😧
Excessive torque on the wheel nuts and studs collapsed the wheel bearing.

Solution;
Replace both rear bearing assembly's, reinstall brakes, properly torquing all 4 wheels...
