Tawas Area Schools extends a big thank you to Tawas Tool for their generous donation of a 3D printer for use in our technology classes. Opportunities like this give our students hands on experience with real world tools and help spark curiosity in STEM learning.

Pictured is Mr. del Rio with several 7th grade students as they unpack the new printer and begin learning the exciting world of 3D printing. We appreciate community partners like Tawas Tool who continue to invest in our students’ future!

The SVSU Fall University-Wide Employment Fair was held in the Ryder Center on September 22, 2023. There were over ninety companies in attendance. Cindy Haewsky, H.R. Assistant, and Brandon Katterman, Engineering Technician, represented Star Cutter Company at the fair. Brandon, who attended SVSU, was able to share his experiences as an intern and now as a full-time employee at Star.
