This day brings forth feelings best described as “bittersweet,” as our Van Bortel Ford family honors our General Manager, Fran Butera, who has officially entered into retirement after 22 years of amazing service at Van Bortel Ford! For over two decades, Fran has led our team alongside Kitty, running Rochester’s Number One Volume Ford Dealership, selling the most new Ford vehicles to retail and fleet customers every year of her dedicated service. Fran has worked tirelessly to help build our reputation as an award-winning dealership with the highest standards, ensuring Van Bortel Ford’s achievement as a 12-time Winner of the prestigious Ford President’s Award, and numerous other accolades. Fran has made an incredible impact, not only on the business, but on the people who work each day throughout every department. While Fran has always been one to handle business, she will always be known as “our work mom” showing empathy, compassion, and care to all. Fran has played an integral role making Van Bortel Ford feel like family. From all of us at Van Bortel Ford, thank you for the memories, laughter, and all the years of outstanding service.
