Hey guys..!! Just a little recap of last week's work. After a long battle with the Daytona rear plug, I think I've got it close. Being that this piece was hand made, left me with some fitment issues and finish metal work. It was definitely a struggle to get it to where I needed it to be. One final fitting with the glass and moldings just to be sure everything lines up and I should be good.. 👍
I'm still waiting on some parts to come in for the 73 Challenger to put it back on its feet, so I decided to finish up some parts that I hadn't done yet. The steering column being one of them along with a few other parts and hardware.
And to finish off the week, I was able to get some time in on my Charger. I needed to fit the gender and quarter surround moldings before having them replated. The plater sent them back to me in copper so I could still bend them. Cuz once they're plated with the nickel and chrome, bending them isn't happening without damaging them. And the final thing I got done was to sand the headlight door to repaint it. The chrome was too bad on these, so fortunately I was able to clean them up..because getting them re-chromed would be extremely expensive.. 😳
THANK YOU watching and following..!! 🙂

On behalf of CMA Restorations, LLC, we want to express our deepest gratitude for everyone who came out to support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (T2T.org) and in support of the 6th Annual CMA Charity Car Show. You played a key role in the event’s success, and we are truly grateful for your attendance.

We are thrilled to announce that this year’s event, held on October 4, 2026, raised a remarkable $12,697.00. This truly means the world to us, and we cannot thank you enough for your investment in this cause. Your financial support is impacting the lives of our American heroes by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children, by building specially-adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders, and by helping to eradicate veteran homelessness.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support is greatly appreciated. We can only hope that you will continue to be part of this annual event.

Let’s thank our sponsors and partners by checking out their pages. The success of the event would not be possible without these incredible businesses.

Hey guys.. 🙂 Remember that I told you in my last post that I was able to get some work done on my car Saturday..? Well I did.. 😏 ..and this is what I got done. And it only took me 11 hours from start to finish.. 😕 But now it's done and one good step closer to the finish line.. 😎 The only thing left to buy are the headers and I'm also waiting for a stall speed torque converter for the 727 transmission. Once I've got the converter, I can put the engine and transmission together, bolt it onto the front K frame/suspension assembly, and lower the car back onto it.. 😊 "HAPPY HAPPY.. JOY JOY.. 🤗

HEY GUYS..!! Well this definitely felt like an unusual week at the shop.. 😕 Cuz I was actually able to get some work done and not hafta focus on a car show.. 😄 So this week I finished assembling the steering column and started assembling the dash board for the 72 Challenger. This car originally had a black guy
T, but the clients chose to change the interior color to saddle brown. So saddle brown it went. Now normally, these interior components were painted with what was called a 'suade' coating, But rather than going with that actual paint, I've figured out a way to mimic it with a different material, and yes, done correctly, it looks really close to what it should look like. The other thing I was able to do was to get the two quarter panels welded onto the Superbird... which is something I've trying to get to for some time now. So over all, a very productive week.. 😊 Oh.. Did I mention that I also worked on my car..? 🤗

Hey guys..!! I'm back.. 😁 ..and finally getting myself into the routine of actually working again.. 😳 Our car shows are SO much fun, but at the same time, they're also SO much work.. 😔 I wanna thand everyone.. and I do mean EVERYONE..!! For making this year's show another great success. The volunteers, the gift donors, the sponsors, the property management, the food vendors, all the musicians, the businesses in the complex, the EPPD and Providence PD, EPFD, Tunnel to Towers, my AMAZING wife Ms Rae, and of course ALL of the car show attendees and guests. And if I missed anyone.. THANK YOU as well.. 🇺🇸 This year was a little tough but everyone working together made it all happen. We raised almost 13k for T2T..!! And with a deficit of 40 less cars this year and lower sponsorship than last year, we still pulled it off.. 🤗 THANK YOU..!! Now it's time to get back to car stuff.. 😏 The beginning of this week was on the 72 Challenger and working on reassembling the steering column and dash board, and getting the tail lights finished. The interior color was originally black, but the clients chose to change the interior color to brownn.. 😕 .. OK.. 🙂.. Brown it is.. 😏.. Enjoy.. 🙂
