2007 Honda Element with its top off!!! Car came to us a month ago on a tow truck due to the fact that the starter and the flywheel teeth have been chewing each other to nothing. When that happens we have to remove the engine and trans assembly to split them and install a new flexplate/flywheel on the engine, or in Honda’s case a new torque converter is the part that had the gear the starter engaged to start the car, so we replaced the torque converter and starter and put it back together. Well our Customer/really awesome friend of ours called a couple days after picking the car up and told us the engine light was on and the code was for the torque convert clutch. After a series of diagnostic tests the new aftermarket torque converter failed. Now normally that’s one of those parts that seem to never be bad out of the box but everyone has bad days and maybe the person making the converter had one too 🤷🏻‍♂️
We stand behind everything we do here at Bobs and when we supply the parts, our customer gets a 1 year labor warranty along with however long the part warranty is (some vary from a year to a Lifetime) so we are correcting this issue at no cost to our customer!!! We can’t thank him enough for being patient and understanding in this situation ❤️❤️ appreciate you kind sir and the rest of our customers as well!

Our friends at The Honey Hole reached out to us a couple weeks ago and were experiencing some issues with their delivery truck! We got them in and verified some of the issues pertaining to what Nate has described, new starter, new batteries, all new grounds and positive cables and ends due to corrosion, knock sensors and new engine oil dipstick tube and got the truck back on the road to keep their customers happy as well 🦾😎🦾😎

2015 Dodge Charger was brought to us to go over the car after our friend purchased it for his son and he is about to be a new driver, we found the engine light was on due to low oil pressure, these 3.6L engines are common for that issue and to fix the problem we have to drop the oil pan and replace the oil pump for this specific oil pressure engine code, well after we dropped the pan we couldn’t help but notice the amount of gasket maker on the oil pan and engine block, after cleaning some of the gasket maker off we found that the fl**ge on the rear main seal that should be flat for the oil pan to seal was all bent out of shape 🥴🥴 so the person who worked on the car previously “gooped” it with gasket
Maker and sent it down the road. Our customer wanted us to fix it properly so we replaced the rear main seal as well.

2014 Ford fiesta came in for an inspection after striking a deer, the car needed a new/used front bumper cover and we were able to find one the same color code as the car!! That’s a huge score and cost savings for the customer to not have to paint the bumper and or ride around with mixed matched colors 😅
