Shop build 1967 mustang fastback is coming along. New sheet metal installed which includes upper and lower cowl, rad support,both L&R aprons,both L&R torque boxes, floors, seat risers,both L&R rear quarters,inner and outer wheel hoses,taillight panel( which might get cut back out to install a Shelby panel) trunk floors,front and rear frame rail repairs and custom snug to floor fitting frame connectors. Also installed fresh front suspension,big block 600 # front springs, adjustable shocks,export brace. Monte Carlo bar next. Calvert split mono leaf rear springs and Cal-Trac bars on the way along with a sumped gas tank just about done and ready for install.

A few recent projects. 4200 Chevy head port work, valve job and assembly*** uni-steer 57 Chevy rack unit full rework on main bracket to clear race pan***347 small block ford hot street engine for cobra kit car *** 355 small block Chevy blower engine for 27 ford hot rod***4.6 aluminator short block for 03 Salleen*** 5.1 big bore aluminator short block for 03/04 cobra***67 390fe with aluminum heads,hydraulic roller camshaft and cobra jet manifolds*** 355 small block Chevy for a customers dump truck- port work, raised compression and hydraulic roller camshaft.

A few new projects/current projects- non engine related, going on in the shop.
-Custom shock tower struts and frame connectors on 65 falcon
-Fabricate and install oem front sheet metal on 2012 mustang which was previously chopped up for LS/turbo combo- (my son did paint work)
-Install stud girdles on a very hot 347 in a customers 65 mustang fastback
-67’ mustang -new project build, possibly for sale along the way or when done. Considering a gritty build to see how cheap we can get a 67’ fastback on the road( to be the younger brother to the 65 fastback already half done in same gritty build style just for “low pressure fun”. )
-1988 mustang notch I’m slowly restoring as time permits. Factory full manual option car, was heavily painted 4 plus paint jobs, now stripped to bare metal and will probably go back to oem blue paint. Installed a “soidonthavetopush*t” 308/5spd combo

I’ve been guilty of not documenting any of the builds this year. These are the few pictures I’ve taken. 557bbf,598bbc,414sbf,395sbf,306sbf,393sbf
There are nearly 30 other engine builds done to date in 2024’ all similar to these and over 40 on deck. I’ll try to do a better job of updating with pictures. And yes, I am actively trying to pull away from engine building…
