As the skies clear, we're reminded that one of the best things about this community is how people come together when it matters most. Thank you to all those who spent the day checking on family, helping neighbors, clearing roads or simply doing what needed to be done. We're hoping you all made it through safely.

Again with this crazy Yeti... every year he gets a little harder to manage. A few years ago we put his face on the t-shirt and handed him the t-shirt cannon for the Eagle River 4th of July parade ... ever since he's been under the impression that he's running the whole operation.

This week he showed up at the shop demanding to inspect the new batch of shirts. We figured if he was going to supervise he could at least earn his keep, so we put him to work rolling them for the cannon. Somewhere in that stack, he managed to sneak gift certificates into two lucky shirts. So if you see the Yeti rolling through the parade tomorrow, be ready!

We can't promise he'll stay humble ... but we can promise he'll be there. He even practiced a few throws with Bailey, so you may have some competition when those shirts start flying!
