The old mustang is FINALLY finished! Only about 200 hours of work... Still not a show car, but it is a really sharp daily driver now. I forgot how much work goes into redoing an old car. From the factory new, nothing fit well and without replacing literally everything (which wasn't in the budget), re-assembly using 55 year old parts (wiring, clips, regulators, and seals) was a nightmare.....

Selling a 2013 Toyota Prius II with just under 80k on the odometer. New front tires, new brakes, new 12v battery, and two (woo hoo!) keys. We did have to do some body work on the left front corner and fix some dents and dings on the body so it does have a rebuilt title. Comes with a 3 month/3000 mile warranty. Asking $11,000 for it.

Want to know why auto insurance keeps going up and cars keep getting totaled? Our COST on two headlights and two turn signal assemblies for a newer Hyundai Tucson (very typical damage from an average deer hit or light fender bender on a relatively inexpensive vehicle) is over $4000....

Really like the size and functionality of the Hyundai Palisade, but you better have full coverage on one of these if you get into even a minor fender bender. The 2023 on the left has an estimated repair of almost 15k and the 2022 on the right will be closer to 23k! Parts prices are crazy.....

Be VERY careful about letting someone else (State Patrol, local police, sheriff's dept.) make the final decision about getting your vehicle towed from an accident. We had a customer get into an accident Saturday on Interstate 90 in Albert Lea. Her mid-sized SUV hit a rectangular hay bale and was leaking fluid and she was afraid to drive it. State Patrol called in a local towing company in Albert Lea and they charged $1510.25 to flatbed a vehicle 2 miles to their towing facility and store it for 3 days. It wasn't like the car didn't move under it's own power either as we drove it onto our flatbed and then off and into our shop.

Ever wonder why it costs so much to have an ac evaporator replaced in your vehicle?? Because it is a LOT of work..... The entire dash and all the reinforcements have to be removed to get the heater box assembly out (houses the evaporator). Then that box has to be split open and without messing up all the timing on the doors that send heat and cool air throughout the vehicle.

Just finished repairing the front on this 2012 Prius. Time to find a good home for it! Asking $7950.
