got some shots of Bobby’s red, white and blue roadglide. We added a bunch of stuff to this bike. This was built by another shop originally and we went through it and added a bunch of MJK parts and some parts that we color matched to the original paint. Changed out the stock front end for some gold tubes and a set of lower legs. The motor got a full once over and we added a Jim’s cam and a few other upgrades. All the carbon on the drivetrain is from . A fresh set of cruisetecs. A new windshield from and some new .moto from the bike also got a full hardware replacement with 12-point stainless from . We kept the same feeling of the original bike but with a ton of cool upgrades. This runs and rides great now. .industries and Choco had to be part of the photo shoot.

My trusty blue steed is a getting a few upgrades and a good cleaning. This bike is my daily/test mule I purposefully try and break stuff on it. It’s been running a 128” for a while and just wasn’t making the power it should so it’s getting a new top end. We are heading down the 2nd gen route with 131” cylinders and pistons from , screamin eagle heads from and intake and throttle body from . This should make some good power. We also pulled the grudgebox and everything looked great on it so that will go back in. A few other little things and it should be ready to go for the season. We’ll see how it goes. .dan

Well we are basically to the end of Daytona bike week for 2026. As much as we love coming down and seeing all our friends and getting away from the cold weather it’s still bitter sweet. Seeing all the cool bikes just gets me pumped to get back to the shop and get to work. We did have a busy couple of weeks prior to Daytona but we got purple roadglide buttoned up for him so we’ll drop that off on the way home and it was good having him here. We also got fatboy done for him in a whirlwind 2.5 weeks. Glad he came down and got to enjoy the bike for the week. We also finished up all the small stuff for Donnie’s dirtytail that we helped out with. When we get back we got a bunch of stuff to finish up and the next rush will be for California. I think we got five or six bikes that we should be debuting there. We had fun this year and kinda just took it easy, it was good seeing everyone. and it’s not a bike event unless I leave with a bunch of parts thanks to Oliver it’s always good having you guys stay with us.

This chopper guys build is taking shape on this . A bunch of parts showed up from the black powder coat looks great. The also showed up and I mounted up some cruisetecs. I’ve been picking away on this thing an hour or so before I head home and it’s pretty close to being broken down for paint. Just waiting on the mid controls and the kickstand from . It’s amazing what a few changes can do for a bike, this was a done bike that wasn’t that cool. The overall bones are still there just cleaned some stuff up and made some small changes. Hopefully the rest of the parts show up and we can get this one buttoned up. It will be for sale when it’s done.

For me one of the big parts of what I do is trying to keep some of this bike history alive. We build bikes but sometimes preserving an old custom is just as good. This bike here is Billy’s bike, I’ve known Billy for along time and this bike was his rider and it is just a cool bike. It was mostly built at but a few people like helped take care of it over its life span. I got the bike a year or so ago from Billy as he is not riding anymore. We ended up cleaning up a few things but because it started life as a fuel injected police bike that has been converted to carburetor the harness was a mess. We completely gutted the harness and added a new setup from . Well, the bike is done now and Billy just happened to be at the shop while we had it out so I grabbed a photo with him next to the bike. I will keep this bike as a shop bike and enjoy it for hopefully many more years. Side note, I also own another of Billy’s bikes, that blue 70 CB 750 was Billy’s custom and it’s been done a few different times. It won rat’s hole bike show in the early 80’s and was also in street chopper magazine around the same time. It’s one of my favorite bikes that I own. Just wanted to share a cool moment I had. This whole bike world is more than just bikes. The people we meet and the bikes they build or own need to be preserved, the history of this whole thing is an important part of what we do.

Thank you for the interview. We did this interview down in Daytona this year with road glide. I was super happy with the reaction this bike had during bike week. I wish Mikki was there to take it all in but I think we made up for it in Sturgis. This bike just worked, everything from the paint to all the MJK parts and all the small details that made it what it was. It is a fun bike to ride and not too bad to look at either. Go check out cycle sources page and give it a watch and a like.

Made this little video last week before I delivered Mikki’s roadglide to him. Bike is so killer especially out in the sun where that paint sparkles. We got the bike cleaned up pretty good and also added a few things. Changed out the oil lines to one of our kits and that cleaned up the top of the motor. Now you can see those rocker boxes. really did a great job getting the clear PPF on the bike. You can’t even tell it’s there. It’s a definite must do for your custom painted bikes if you plan on riding them. This was a long project but Mikki was a trooper and hopefully we delivered a bike that looks good but also can be ridden hard. Thank you Mikki for being a great customer and allowing us to build this bike for you. Here are some of the companies that we used product from. .dan

We have been giving mikki’s road glide a good cleaning since it got back from Sturgis, I think he put around 1200 miles in about 4 days. I’m super happy with how the bike road and no problems. What it did get was a whole lot of dirt and grime in every crevice possible. After a good once over we are sending parts to for some clear PPF wrap on all the hard hit areas. The other up grade that we did was changing out the horrible factory oil lines that cover up the rocker boxes and just look bad. We make a universal kit for our builds that converts to AN lines. This gives us freedom to run the lines however we want. On a bike like this we hid most of them. This one has a stock oil cooler that I modified but we will have aluminum coolers soon. And yes, Curly’s makes a kit also and they are nice and if you want one I would order their kit from them. This is our version that we make for our in-house builds, just showing some of the stuff we do for our builds. I’ve had a version of this setup on my blue roadglide since around 2019 so they definitely hold up.
