I often get questions about 'which clinic is best for me, Intermediate or Advanced,' for our adventure bike clinics. So here's some detail to help you decide - and if you are keen, there are still spaces for Virginia clinics in July and Utah clinics in September.
If you have any questions, please get in touch with us; we can help you choose the right clinic.
We do split the groups into two levels: Intermediate and Advanced. This is to do our best to keep the groups going each day at a similar pace so that each group has similar goals. While the core syllabus is very similar between the clinics, the primary difference is the level of technicality you are practicing on.
If you need clarification on which level you fit into, consider your riding goals, where you would like to be / what sort of group you would be happier / most comfortable in.
If you need clarification on which clinic to attend, you can choose a level down and not up. We are not going to judge you if you choose a lower level.
Just to let you know, we don't run beginner clinics. So the intermediate clinic might be more suited for you if you are starting out, as well as being beneficial for those of you who have got a bit of experience but want to really nail the techniques. We know it will be a very beneficial and enjoyable experience for you.
We have had hundreds of students in the USA clinics so far and haven’t had anyone in the intermediate groups request a higher level of technicality. You may attend an advanced session and choose to not participate in some of the more technical or advanced exercises if you are intimidated by the obstacle. You’ll still learn a lot, but when deciding which session, think of what you want to put into it and what you want to get out of it. In the intermediate session, if you’re the rider that does need more challenges, we can always make that happen!
All of our clinics have pretty low numbers – a maximum of 11 riders – so you are guaranteed to get 1-1 attention throughout the two-day session.
