Backyard find 85 300D for only $50 a contractor at a house noticed it buried in the woods behind the house and asked if it was for sale. The homeowner said make an offer. He offered $50 cash what he had on him and the owner agreed if he could have it gone that day it was his. We were more than glad to bring it to its new home after maneuvering out and around the back yard with no key, a locked steering wheel and shifter stuck in park. Surprisingly the interior was in excellent condition and the engine looked very well maintained! Those old diesels run forever! Congrats on your new purchase and glad we were able to help! Imagine buying a Mercedes that cost less than the tow bill to bring it home!

Always inspect what you purchase from a private seller. This customer drove 6 hours to purchase a mustang svt cobra and for a good chunk of change. Not even 2 hours headed back home the engine over heated, blowing thick smoke and oil and gave me a call.. I gladly towed the car the remainder of the trip about 4 hours. Once we got there I checked a few things and asked a few questions. This motor had more blow by mixed with oil than a leaf blower with an oil injector.. The exhaust was a white smokey sweet smell to it, It had delayed starting problems and got hot quick. It wasn't hard to tell it had a Blown head gasket and completely worn out rings. Sadly the seller knew the motor was on its last leg and was hoping to get over on someone before it was his issue. Very unfortunate! Always check out what your buying or bring someone with you that can overlook the vehicle. Almost all shops offer a pre purchase Inspection for very little cost or sometimes free, and avoid this happening to you!

6pm Pm insurance job rush hour traffic on I85 Pouring rain minimum visibility on the highway next to a barrier wall just inches from traffic taking a photo at the time was not even a thought once the car was on the deck with the winch holding it I Moved to another location ahead with much more room to properly secure it before we actually got going to it's destination. The vehicle had a Broken CV axle and was disabled. Very scary situation. Please slow down or move over! 90% of the time Truckers always move over or have reduced speed significantly so that vehicles behind them are forced to as well. We come out and risk our safety to make sure you make it home safely to your family, it takes 0 effort to move over. You just might save a life and I get to go home to my family as well.

So far the call of the year.. HOW this happened I have no idea.. This must've taken some effort. All I can't think of is that the owner mistakenly hit the gas instead of the brakes. And the bent front tie rod made it very difficult. Little did I know this punk kid maybe 19 working for the office sent to clean up the mess thought he was being slick and set his phone up to record me thinking I was going to f**k something up. Yes we caught him and yes we had words. And he no longer has any video 😂 very unprofessional in my opinion. Granite if you were the owner by all means you're welcome to record. I encourage it. I am very careful and professional with my work and other people's property and I take pride in that. I have cameras in the front and back for my safety and the safety of my customers property.

Chevrolet suburban unfortunately had a transmission failure on the way home to her kids, stuck on the side of I40 about 40 minutes from home. Fortunately I was actually passing the vehicle on the way back from another tow and was on site within 5 minutes. With quotes of over a hour ETA from other companies she was a Very happy customer.
