Thank you to every single person involved in making the Blue Collar Showdown, one to remember.
There was so much time and effort put into this place, all the people who helped Roby this week, he had a big job on his hands and he couldn’t have done it without some help! So thank you to the ones who plugged right in and helped.
Terry Odom Promotions is the first to bring a promoted race to B&B, and Terry told us that “once the races get started I want you guys to enjoy the day and let me carry the stresses of race day” and for that I am grateful, it was really cool to be able to be a part in actual racing and not be stuck with my usual duties at our track.
I also have to say, Terry and his team and family he brings with him done a great job, his daughter Peyton and Mitzi’s daughter showed up Friday afternoon ready to help me get some trailers parked, Terry was ready to work and help with the track, and the rest showed up Saturday morning ready to get the show on the road, I thought the day went as smooth as it could. Some small little things and obstacles here and there as with any race day, but hats off to you guys for everything you all done.
And to the sponsors, without you all the race wouldn’t have formed into what it did so thank you, for stepping in and putting up the extra payouts to help bring the racers to B&B! Who knew when Terry called and said let’s have a race, and it started with some pretty basic payouts on the line, that it would turn into what it did! Thank you all so much!
And the RACERS, yall are the reason we do this thing. Nothing is perfect in this world, and I’m sure not everyone had the day they wanted, but we hope to see you all back at B&B!
