The Automotive News 2026 All-Stars are leaders who made significant contributions to the auto industry. The achievements of the 30 individuals reach from the factory floor to the dealer showroom and into major trade and policy issues. They represent diverse segments of the industry.
The All-Stars show an industry undergoing rapid transformation as it navigates shifting market conditions, regulations and government policies. They are immersed in product and powertrain strategy, advanced manufacturing, software, artificial intelligence, robotics, autonomous driving and electrification.
They are working to shorten vehicle-development cycles, make factories more flexible, build battery and component supply chains, and bring software-defined capabilities into vehicles. Many look beyond the traditional automobile into humanoid robotics, new mobility services, AI-powered manufacturing, driver-impairment detection and other technologies.
The group includes 17 executives from automakers, representing Ford, General Motors, BMW, Ferrari, BYD, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota and Stellantis. Toyota leads the automakers with four All-Stars, followed by Hyundai with three. BMW, GM and Stellantis each have two.
