Warning from the SLC Police... don't get your car stolen! Keep your keys with you!

PLEASE don't leave keys in your vehicle. From May 5, to May 18, SLCPD investigated 36 stolen vehicle cases. In those cases, 20 of the vehicles stolen had keys left in them. By leaving keys in your vehicle, it makes it much easier for the thieves. Protect yourself by:
-Locking your car
-Removing all valuables
-Parking in well lit areas, and
-Especially removing any spare keys from the vehicle!
