Annual Meeting

The annual meeting came to order at 7:00 pm on April 1st 2024. Presiding was President and CEO ( Secretary) Daniel S. Wynne. During the past year, as a result of financial considerations, the workshop space was closed and reverted to just a storage unit. The office space remains at Oak Park. Operations at this time were reduced, until capital can be generated. Discussions have been made to purchase a new BenQ 3250U monitor, and in the near term a 3D printer and a scanner. Solidworks software licenses will be purchased as well as peripherary software for business use. The hope is to have shop space procured in the next fiscal half.

Today is going to be a quiet annual meeting of Astralabs Technology Inc ., and a celebration of our sixth anniversary (November 22, 2017). Important plans will be carried out for the second half of this year.

When you have three United States Naval Test Pilot School (Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division) graduates in space at the same time, you know the Space Station is in great hands! Even better, we don’t have to write a technical report following our flight. 😆

Today, we celebrate the anniversary of the day EAA was founded. On January 26, 1953, Paul Poberezny, with his wife Audrey at his side, formed one of the world’s largest aviation organizations— the Experimental Aircraft Association. Thank you to our members for your decades-worth of dedication and for embracing Paul’s vision to spread The Spirit of Aviation, which has never been stronger.
