New project arrived! Finally building a car hauler to tote our WK2. Thanks HD Trailer Solutions for getting us the rolling chassis! This’ll be a fun side project to build out in the evenings. Lots of custom components to build, and lots of tricks up my sleeves for this one! I spent 8 years as a foreman for a high end trailer manufacturer in my twenties. I’m looking forward to building one of the coolest car haulers out there!

The routine can get monotonous sometimes. I find myself in daydreaming from time time of all the places I’ve wheeled, and the terrains we’ve guided WK2s through. Washington state, NY, Colorado, Tennessee, Florida, Utah… I wonder where I’ll find myself next. My favorite so far is Utah. There’s just nowhere else quite like it. Where’s your favorite place to fall off the grid?

One of those projects that we never share.. We’ve been building parts for ADAS Calibration Equipment for a local company for the past 5 years. They calibrate automotive sensors (Like the ACC units). They’re finally ready to really hit the market with them, so we helped them refine the design, and we’ll be manufacturing, assembling, and shipping the complete units here at 6M. Pictured is the target base stand, targets are not pictured. Thought I’d share, these turned out slick, easy to use, collapsible, and can take a beating.

Nice install today on a customers Trailhawk! Roof Rack with plug and play harness, Sliders, Front lower Guard, Back bumper, Sump Skid, Trans Skid, Battery Skid, Rear Diff Guard, Subframes, and a Tire Carrier! We also took care of the Pinch Weld Mod for him in preparation for 33s. Took 3 guys 5 hours to complete. John will have a ton of fun with it when he hits the trails in Colorado next month!

A few custom 392 Badges headed to a rear diff in Port St. Lucy. Thanks for the referral Nick!

A set of 6” tool box risers, ready to coat. I think they are headed out west to be fitted on a massive Mac Box.

We added some synchronized jacks to our fab/weld table to make thinks a bit more comfortable and versatile.

Some ADAS plastics and the newest version of stand bases headed out to calibrate cars all over the country!

Lastly, Bella Moose. She’s getting big, and is enjoying every bit of rain that she can sneak out into. Yes, that’s also drool running down to the floor. There’s just something with this dog & water. Apparently standing in your water bowl while drinking is an option. 😂
