Happy 4th of July! Today we celebrate 250 years since our Declaration of Independence. It may seem like a long time to some, but we are a very young country. We've done a lot of really great things, a lot of not so great things, and are continuously evolving as a nation and as a people. We have a lot of work to do in some areas. We live in a great country and have freedoms that some people in the world could only dream to have. Let's not take that for granted. Celebrate the 4th however you'd like. Just be safe, be smart, and appreciate this great country you wake up in every day.

Happy Memorial Day. While the extra day off of work and the barbecues and get togethers are a good time. Please take a moment to think about and thank those brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to defend our freedom and protect our country. Freedom isn't free and Memorial Day is an ideal time to recognize those soldiers who gave their lives so that we can live ours as we choose. May God look after the ones we lost, and God bless the United States of America.
