Would like to start off by thanking all the jeepers that come out today to support the toys for tots event. And a shoutout to the Carroll county sheriff office deputy for the awesome work by contacting the local city police departments on our route to the drop off at James o’neill for making all the intersections easy to get through. The state troopers did a phenomenal job as well with making sure there were no problems. With that being said I would also like to say that the city of Douglasville police department was no help at all. Had no interest in helping block just one intersection. I try to support all law enforcement and especially my city and county. But today I lost a lot of respect for the city police department. All and all it was a great turn out as always and we word can’t express how thankful we are for everyone that come out and helped make this event great once again.
