☀️ **10 THINGS YOUR VEHICLE HATES ABOUT 100° WEATHER** 🥵

Your car is hot. You’re hot. Everybody’s mad. WE GET IT!

🛞 **TIRES** — Extreme heat and hot pavement are tough on tires, especially if they’re underinflated or already worn. Check pressure **when the tires are cold** and use the recommended PSI on your door jamb.

🔋 **BATTERY** — Surprise: heat can be harder on a battery than cold. High temperatures accelerate internal deterioration, so if your battery is getting some age on it, it’s worth testing.

🌡️ **COOLING SYSTEM** — Your engine is fighting the heat too. Proper coolant levels, good hoses and a healthy cooling system help prevent overheating.

❄️ **A/C** — At 100°, “it still blows kinda cool” isn't gonna cut it. If your A/C isn't cooling like it used to, that's usually your warning before it quits completely.

🛢️ **FLUIDS** — Oil, coolant, transmission fluid and other fluids help lubricate AND manage heat. Low or neglected fluids make an already-hot vehicle work even harder.

〰️ **BELTS & HOSES** — Heat is rough on rubber. Cracks, bulges, soft spots and deterioration can turn into a roadside problem pretty quickly.

⛽ **FUEL** — Maybe don't make **“7 MILES TO EMPTY”** your normal driving mode. 😂

🚨 **TEMPERATURE GAUGE** — If it starts climbing above normal, don't ignore it. Your vehicle isn't being dramatic — something needs attention.

🥤 **WHAT'S INSIDE** — A parked vehicle becomes an oven FAST. Electronics, aerosol cans, medications and that Dr Pepper you forgot yesterday probably don't want to live in there.

👶🐶 **LOOK BEFORE YOU LOCK** — This one's not a joke. Never leave a child or pet in a parked vehicle, even for a few minutes. Vehicle temperatures can become dangerous incredibly fast.

Today, the world lost a legend.

Before Dolly Parton was Dolly Parton, she was a little country girl from the mountains of Tennessee. She came from a small place, dreamed big, worked hard, and went on to leave a mark on the entire world.

She was proof that you don't have to come from a big place to do big things.

But maybe even more remarkable than what Dolly accomplished was who she remained through all of it.

Hardworking. Innovative. Gracious. Kind. Humble. Lighthearted.

And giving. So, so giving.

No matter how big she became, she never got too big for where she came from. She gave back to her hometown, to children, to families, and to people who simply needed a hand.

Dolly once said, “I've always believed charity begins at home and my home is some place special.”

I think that's something small-town people understand especially well.

Success isn't just about what you can build for yourself. It's also about what you're able to do for others along the way—supporting your schools, your ball teams, your community, your neighbors, and stepping up when somebody needs a hand.
