As winter approaches please don't be in this situation next fall!! This is a 2017 4 stroke Rock River outboard that everyone told him he didn't need to winterize an outboard it's a waist of time and money! This is one of many examples I see yearly. If you don't de'lime your engine every couple years and you fail to winterize this happens regularly! The water is blocked and can't drain out and when it freezes you get cracked heads and cracked blocks. Don't be a victim of an easy solution!
