A tapered-shaft replacement motor runs $440+.
Instead, I grabbed a $180 Predator motor from the local Harbor Freight and designed/3D-printed a custom shaft adapter to fit the impeller.

💡3D printing is a fast, inexpensive way to check fit, function, and proof a concept before sending a final design to the machine shop. That means less risk, less cost, and faster turnaround.

🔥 Fresh off the printer! Just finished up this Huntrix wand print using my newly completed Voron Enderwire conversion. The detail and finish came out amazing — super smooth layers and solid strength. This was one of the first real test prints on the build, and I’m pretty impressed with how well it handled.

Loving what the Enderwire project has turned this old Ender into — CoreXY speed and Voron reliability in one package. Can’t wait to push it further with more projects!
