Project photos from today, 9/29/26, of roofing and siding of Shop and grading, fabric, and stone subbase for outside storage area on newest property, 2 St Jean.

Blaze Contracting has started grading the new property preparing for much more area for outside storage. After grading, a layer of geotextile fabric and 6-inches for crushed stone for a stable base will be placed. Approximately 4-acres will be prepped over the next three weeks or so. This will allow us to services clients until inside storage can be constructed down the road.

We have started setting trusses for the new Boat Repair Shop. Should be done in another day or so. Going well.

FBI Buildings began constructing the building shell for the new Boat Repair Shop yesterday (Monday 9/21). Already built the wall frames and are setting in place today. Impressively tall building with 25 foot ceilings. Will start setting trusses tomorrow. Great progress.

The foundations are complete for our new 80’ x 104’ Boat Repair Shop. The building contractor starts constructing the building shell on or about 9/21.

We are happy to announce we are taking delivery this week of our brand new custom built 30-ton yard trailer. We are adding her to our current boat handling equipment including our 20-ton yard trailer and 20-ton and 30-ton Travelift hoists. She has been designed to handle Santa Cruz 70 sailboats and all smaller boats. We can evaluate other large boats on a case by case basis. This will greatly enhance our capabilities as our expansion continues.

We finally received our first building permit for the Goat Yard Marine (Detroit Boatworks) expansion project. We have started installation of the foundations for our new 8,320 SFT Boat Repair Shop on our northernmost parcel. We will be done with foundations next week and will soon follow with new utilities and construction of the post-frame building. We are targeting having the building ready for winter work.
