Stop bill house bill, 1563. Our legislature is trying to pass a bill stopping towing companies from holding the cargo from big truck accidents as collateral in order to get paid for our services. You can ask any tower , if it passes we will not get paid for many accidents we work hours on out on the interstate. Today about 100 towers showed up at the state capitol to protest by driving our tow trucks around the block around the capitol for several hours to get the attention of the legislators . If you have any questions , I will be glad to explain . And oh yeah, they gave us 3 days notice about this bill just like the way they pushed the Learns bill through so quick.
