Another day another set of seats. Oversized valves require oversized seats. The factory seats are not larger enough OD to remove the heat properly and will lead to leakage at best. Dropping the seat at worst.

These heads got a fresh surface only needing .0015” cut on the Rottler to clean up.

New guides are sized and ready for the valve job in the morning. Topped off with final blending before assembly.

Monday is off to a great start finishing up seat and guide work on a set of Ford GT heads and a set of 4.6 C heads. New seats all the way around, new bronze guides in the GT heads, blended and a fresh valve job. Throughout the years we have tested and proven what these heads require to stand up to abuse and make great horsepower.

Very excited to have Wonder Racing, LLC. back onboard with us for our first race of 2026!! I don't think I can imagine a better way to kick the 2026 Racing Season off other than with the US Street Nationals at Bradenton Motorsports Park. The days are flying by so make sure you got your tickets for the second race of the Drag Illustrated Winter Series.
