The population in Colorado is growing at an exponential rate. Seeing one 10-15 years ago was a rare occurrence. Now they’re everywhere.
I usually see at least a couple every summer. Keep your eyes open out there. And keep your distance. Momma Moose can be extremely aggressive.

New flag is up on Red Cone for the ‘26 season. Enjoy.

Had to make some upgrades this go-round. I had noticed a design flaw the first year this pole was up, and I’ve been wanting to go back and fix it ever since. It now has three connection points, as well as three mounting gromets, to prevent the seam of the flag from pulling out of the clamp bar. I forgot my threaded insert installation tool. So I had to settle for a through bolt. But I’ll be sure to put the threaded insert in next year.
