This Charger came in with a check engine light and multiple trouble codes.
After diagnosing the issue, we found the long tube headers were leaking on both cylinder heads — and as you can see from the gaskets, it was pretty clear why.
Header bolts must be properly torqued. We’ve seen this issue far too many times over the years. Yes, lowering the engine to properly install long tubes is a pain… but doing it the right way the first time keeps you from paying for the job twice.
This customer decided to step it up and switch to Kooks Headers and Exhaust . The previous install — including the fabricated mid-pipes and cat-back — was a mess.
