Weighs approximately 6000 lbs. yes it's a bill board, 8.5 ft wide 32 ft. longer with tongue. About 11 ft. tall, wind is a problem especially side wind. Now that wind happens in Colorado every week, we wonder if a 4-cylinder turbo engine is up to the task. Turbo max gas engine has 310 horsepower and 430 torque. That's good torque, matched to a 8-speed automatic transmission. Tow haul mode and trailer brake controller with factory receiver hitch and 3.42 rear axle ratio.

Just look at the ICON lock, it's intimidating by the size and shape. Lock is like no other gooseneck trailer coupler lock. Protects against the new type of trailer thief that has cordless power tools. ICON is designed to stop thief's from steeling your trailer and the tools and equipment you have on it. Today's trailer thieves don't use crowbars and sledgehammers. Most trailers that get stole have no locks or cheap locks. Super off-roader or is it? MrTruck and MrsTruck took the 2026 GMC Canyon AT4X AEV to the Rockies and buried it in the cement snow. Cement snow is what happens to snow with sun and high winds on the mountain. It's easy to break though the crust all the way to the truck frame. But the Canyon is a wonderful truck for the average overlander. It's comfortable, fun, capable and looks like a professional wrestler. It has the budging fenders. AEV bumpers and skid plates like an Abrams tank. Locking front and rear lockers, 4.5" lift, turbo engine, 430 torque, 35 inch tires and underbody cameras to see the rocks you're driving over.

Yes it's loaded compared to a basic Maverick Hybrid I drove 3 years ago for $19,000 and 50 mpg on the highway at 80 MPG. 2026 Maverick is said to have a price drop. The 2025 Maverick Lobo is rated at 30 mpg highway. This video demonstrate how little room in the back seat, though Mrs. Truck was able to set there. My grandkids couldn't. Riding in the front seats where comfortable. 5 ft. bed and it now tows 5000 lbs. Power everything, moon roof and paddle shifter. The hand shaker went down from 8 to 7 gears. 2.0L 4 cylinder with a turbo with 250 horsepower and 277 torque. Plenty of power, good storage as the tiny rear seat folds back with storage underneath. Good cargo management in the bedliner bed. With side railing and floor anchors. Eight in. center screen. I do like the vertical rips grill.
