The Fiero Factory We were a used parts center specializing in Pontiac Fieros. Those days are over. I closed down June 1, 2025 and crushed all the cars Jan 1, 2026.

As of May 26, 2026 we are no longer selling used parts. We are the worlds largest used parts provider for the Pontiac Fiero

Also of note is I'm taking the factory fuel sending unit from my *nice* Formula to fix my *ugly* one. What? 😳

How many pieces of piston in the oil pan are acceptable? I only have one. Is that too many or not enough? 🤔

It's 2pm on a sunny Sunday afternoon....what to do? Well, the gas gauge on my ugly Formula isn't working so let's drop the tank and see what's going on. Why not?

BTW....I'm looking for name suggestions for this Formula. It was/is medium red metallic, but has faded into something completely different. Don't hold back....anything will be considered. 🙂

As of Friday October 2, 2026 Rodney Dickman has decided to un-retire. So what does this mean? It means you will need to place orders through his website or email him with what you need.

As of this post, I am still the go-to guy for Rodney's 1988 Fiero suspension parts. These include only the following: upper & lower ball joints, inner & outer tie rods, front wheels bearings/hubs (rebuildable) and bushing kits for the rear suspension links.

I also have the under car cooling tube repair kits for all years.

Anything else must be purchased through Rodney, so please do not contact me.....contact Rodney.

It's not perfect, but it's finished and is better than it was.

Just a recap....this 88 GT was sideswiped in a parking lot. The mirror was pulled off causing a lot of damage to the mirror, the door skin and door itself.

I replaced the entire door and installed a new dew wipe/belt molding too. Removing and installing the door took less than 30 minutes.....everything else took many hours over several days! The hinges were bad and I pulled out what's left of my hair aligning the door so the molding isn't crooked.

Again...not perfect, but in much better shape than before.

Now I can get back to installing the new engine in my red 88 GT! 🙂

I swapped out a door yesterday. The actual removal took 10 minutes, but replacing the hinges and installing a new dew wipe took much longer!

The maroon door skin is temporary while I make repairs to the white one. It was damaged in the original incident that ripped the mirror off and bent the door. The moldings didn't line up before and still don't. I have no idea why, but hopefully we'll figure it out.

I did take some video of the process, but it's a mess. I will try my hand at editing to make something watchable. Wish me luck!

I made it home yesterday afternoon from my Denver to Bismarck, ND to Dallas, TX back to Denver trip. 2700 miles in about 69 hours. I missed my 60 hour goal due to stopping in Amarillo for 6 hours due to torrential rain. Oh well.

It was a fun trip! People have been asking me why? Why do this for only a few bucks more than the cost of the gas? Well....as stupid as this will sound, it's because North Dakota was one of only 2 states that I had never been to. Now I've been to all of the lower 48 & Alaska. Hawaii is the only one left.

Next up is a quickie job. This poor 88 GT was sideswiped in a parking lot and messed up the door and a few other things. I'll be installing a "new" used door and making the rest look as good as I can.

I'll post an update and/or a short video showing how to remove & install a door in a couple of days

Man....Dallas traffic on a Friday is rough. I finally got out!

"White Lightning" has been delivered to her new owner and should make its first car show appearance this weekend!

Now for the 11-hour drive home. My goal for this adventure was under 60 hours and I'm at 46 right now, so not much of a buffer. We'll see what happens. 🙂

**I generally hate editing posts, but this one was terribly written. Sorry.

I was traveling in my Yukon from Denver, CO to Bismarck, ND to pick up a Fiero for someone in Dallas, TX. I stopped in Ogallala, NE for gas and put in 19.88 gallons. I love 1988 Fieros and thought it was mildly interesting enough to snap a picture. That's it! 🙂 /edit**
