The most amazing hard working woman arrived at the shop a few days ago. Her passenger window quit working, the window is permanently down. It was also raining.

She got a quote for $2000 to repair the window, and they sent her off.

She showed up to our shop, and we made sure to get her window pulled up, we took the time to remove the inner panel, diagnose the real problem, and make sure she left with the window permanently up, till it was repaired.

We made sure, she could leave with her mind at peace over her window, and especially so she doesn’t have to drive in the cold weather, rain, or the risk of her vehicle getting stolen.

We provided a quote afterward, in case she decided she wanted to repair the window, but our priority was making sure she was safe, her vehicle was safe, and she was not going to be a target for theft.

We’re not always open on Sunday’s so our business hours show closed. A Customer called the first body shop they found on Google and they were closed, so they called the next one which happened to be us, JDG Collision. We answered the phone, the voice on the other line was in despair, anxious and worried about what had just happened to them.

The only vehicle they had for transportation at the moment, was damaged horribly. The driver side door no longer closed shut, they only have 1 day off a week and they don’t know what to do.

I let them know we could meet them at the shop and try to figure out a solution. We would both be there in 10 minutes.

The Customer arrived with the front driver door strapped to the other side of the vehicle to
Keep it closed.

This door was messed up, in more ways than one! After the inspection we knew the door would have to be replaced, but they need a safe enough vehicle to drive away in.

There was one solution….. a temporary fix, until they could get a new door and still be able to go to work with a functional door.

We did that, for them; for us! It’s not always about making a profit, a corporate shop wouldn’t be allowed to touch the vehicle without charging them or sending them away.

At JDG Collision we care about you! Your family, your safety and your word of mouth!

Our staff took the time out, temporarily fixed the problem, free of charge and made sure these Customers could have a better Sunday!

We also provided a free quote after, just in case they wanted to get it repaired correctly but there was never an obligation!
