Sad but true.
If you ever need a vehicle repainted, you better hope it ends up in the hands of someone who still takes pride in their craft. It’s called giving a 💩
The reality is that true craftsmanship is becoming harder and harder to find. Most shops are just happy to have employees show you to work. That’s a win if they can even find someone to do that.
Too many shops are focused on speed, volume, and getting the next vehicle in the booth. Quality, attention to detail, accountability, and pride in workmanship often take a back seat.
The automotive industry has changed. The old-school mindset of doing the job right the first time, treating every vehicle like it was your own, and standing behind your work is becoming a rare thing.
The old-timers know exactly what I’m talking about.
Most of us spend tens of thousands of dollars on our vehicles. We maintain them, protect them, and take pride in them. Unfortunately, not everyone we trust to work on them shares that same level of care.
Carisma is not a little different but is in a different world.
