2006 BMW Z4 came in with the concern of the car stumbling then shutting off when coming to a stop. Customer attempted a couple repairs but called us for an accurate diagnosis. We test drove the car while monitoring engine data and determined that there was an issue in the VANOS system causing the vehicle to die out. We found that the problem was a clogged filter to the solenoid not letting enough oil pressure return the mechanical plunger back to rest. This was all caused from a previous oil change, someone left out the stem in the cap causing a lot of un filtered oil go through the engine. We did an oil change, replaced the cap, and cleaned out both filters, now this Z4 is back to smooth riding! 👍🏼🔧

2014 Chevy Spark came in because the customer said it was low on power with a check engine light on. During the test drive we noticed that the transmission had a severe shudder then after driving for about 20 minutes we lost all gears. The faults stored were for low oil pressure in the transmission and per a TSB by GM this is caused due to foreign material entering the valve body which also caused severe internal component damage. Doing routine maintenance would have cleaned out the debris in the internals but in this case it wasn’t done so the transmission will need to be replaced. 2014 Kia Optima came in because the steering wheel clunks very loudly when turning right or left. After a quick diagnosis we determined that the problem was in the power steering motor on the column and after removing the motor we found the damper had completely disintegrated! Once the new damper was installed we took the vehicle for a test drive and verified that the noise is now gone 👍🏼🚗

2015 Passat came in to have the thermostat housing replaced after the dealership quoted them over DOUBLE what we did the job for! 😱

2014 Chevy Cruze came in because the customer said that they heard a very loud grinding noise coming from the front end. After a quick inspection we found that the front brake pads were metal to metal! First step was to make sure the pistons in the calipers compressed then to make sure the slide pins and boot were all ok. Once that all checked out we went ahead and replaced the front pads and rotors. For a fair and professional brake job call us or send us a message! 👍🏼🔧

2019 Ford EcoSport came in because they were told by another shop that their exhaust leak was causing the check engine light to come on. After we scanned the car fault P0456 is stored in the ECM and it is not a result of the leak in the exhaust. Using our smoke machine we pressurized the EVAP system and found that the diaphragm in the purge valve has failed. Replacing the purge assembly took care of the problem! 2009 Honda Accord came in with a rattle under load and an intermittent oil light coming on. After a test drive we verified the concern and found that the oil light was the red oil pressure light! 😱
Our first step with any oil pressure concern is to check the level and we found that it was only half full. These era of Hondas tend to burn oil so we advised the customer to keep a close eye on his oil change intervals and to seal the engine from leaks. For this visit we replaced the oil filter housing gaskets and did a fresh oil change.

2008 BMW 550i came in with a noise under the hood and a flashing check engine light. We scanned the car we found that cylinder 7 had a dead miss at idle and after preforming a relative compression we found that one of them is low. After removing the engine cover we found that the ignition coil was not seated in all the way and then we found the source of the noise. These spark plugs looked very neglected and the number 7 plug had the ground strap fall off due to corrosion then it blew the middle of the plug out causing a compression leak which was making the noise. 2018 Dodge Journey came in after 3 different shops couldn’t find the reason for the vehicles no crank no start condition! Customer was feeling defeated because the other 3 shops were replacing different components one being an engine replacement😱 and nothing was fixing the issue. We properly diagnosed the car and found that the problem was just a corroded terminal at the starter solenoid! Vehicle has been starting ever since 👍🏼 we’re experts at electrical diagnostics and driveablilty concerns.
