2012 BMW 528i xDrive (F10) N20 In for Timing replacement.

This BMW came in with a crank, no start condition. My client had the vehicle previously diagnosed somewhere else. However, they wanted us to perform the repairs. During disassembly, we found the oil pump chain broken, and it fell into the oil pan. In most cases, this would quickly seize the engine as the motor no longer has oil pressure and would result in engine catastrophic failure. Luckily, after installing a new timing chain, guides, and oil pump chain module, she's running again.
