TIRES BY THE NUMBERS

Did you know that a tire with a 30" diameter makes 661 revolutions per mile? This would be 3,335,000 revolutions over 5000 miles (one rotation period) and over 33 million times during a 50,000 mile lifetime. With that many contacts with the road, no wonder they occasionally pick up a nail! 🤓

OK Tire in Decatur is looking for an experienced tire-tech! Pay rate is based on experience level ranging from $10-$13. We would prefer to find someone with passenger and commercial tire experience, but we will consider all applications as we're not opposed to training someone new with a good work ethic.

All of our positions are full-time 48 hour work weeks. That said, we offer weekly overtime pay, insurance benefits, and employee discounts at a stable and successful 45 year family owned and managed business. In conjunction with the state order by Governor Kay Ivey on April 3rd, we are making some adjustments to our normal operations.

As of right now, we are open during normal hours, but our waiting area will be closed indefinitely. You are welcome to come inside to initiate service, but we ask that you please arrange to leave your vehicle if possible.

We appreciate your consideration during these unusual circumstances. While customer service is our top priority, we must make these temporary changes to ensure the safety of our customers and employees.
