This is Cade Cooper. I am the son of the owners of Decatur Tint. Our business is currently closed until further notice, secondary to my mother, Dee Dee Cooper, is currently on a ventilator at UAB and is battling covid pneumonia and a stroke. Please keep us in your prayers.

Hey guys! Sorry I have been Out of touch for a while, but I have been in wedding shower mode! Lol! And Tim has been tinting a lot out of the office and for some reason our phones will not forward which makes it so hard to keep up with all of the calls. I do apologize for that if you have tried to get in touch with us.
This heat is ridiculous is it not? And we have been tinting so many lake homes lately Because of all of the heat and glare that they get off the water. But what about homes that aren’t on the lake? You still get lots of heat and glare from the sun and you may not realize it l, but the UV Rays are destroying Your floors, your paintings, your furniture! It is fading it little by little. Tint can block out the harmful UV rays but still allow you to have your view. It is just according to what color or should I just say what shade you go with. And it’s so much easier to have tint instead of blinds. No more dusting each individual little blade. And you still get the privacy that you want. The Facebook monitor deleted my last post for some reason. Apparently because they thought there were some hateful things being said —-I don’t know. Anyway, Tim is out of the office today due to an unexpected pulled tooth at the dentist office this morning, but he will be back in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Friday he has more dental work that has to be done, so if you cannot get us on our shop phone, please call 256-476-0645.. That is my personal cell and I have it on me usually at all times. Our phones will not forward for some reason and we are going to call Verizon tomorrow and see what the problem is. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and I am so sorry because I have been out of the loop since my dad died nearly 3 weeks ago. Tim and I have had a hard time dealing with it, but I promise We are trying to get back to our full potential. Just keep us in your prayers please. We love and appreciate each of our customers. You are the reason we have been successfully in Decatur for 21 years. Thank you so very much.

Well, are as happy as anyone to know that our business can open back up officially Friday. That being said, we will open back up Monday, May the 4th. We will still be practicing social distancing as much as possible. We are so excited to see all of our customers again!!! Thanks for sticking with us!

Tim and I are hoping that everyone is staying safe through this awful time that we all are having to go through right now. Even though our business, like a lot of other ones, were deemed “non-essential”, just know that we will open back up as soon as we can. We would still be open if we knew we would not be fined! 🙂. Thank you to all of our loyal customers who stuck by us through Tims sickness and understood that things happen that we cannot control. I hated to have to call and cancel all of our appointments last week. I am just so happy that my husband is better. Thanks again for all the well wishes, the prayers and the continued business. We truly appreciate you all.

This has not been a good week for us and it’s only Wednesday. We have had to be closed because of Tims sickness. We apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused our customers, but believe me, Tim would much rather be working than be as sick as he is right now.
