Outside of warranty, many find the dealership experience to be a very corporate, dollars centric experience where you often feel that you are not in control of making the decisions for your car care and even worse; the prescribed repair sometimes does not address the problem you brought it in for. On the other end of the spectrum you have Tire (service centers) where you can have tires installed and then recommended service performed by lesser qualified technicians using lesser quality parts. There are also quick l**e options that may provide a quick oil change, but to meet the pressures for profit, they will use low quality filters and generic lubricants that will often not meet your manufacturers specific requirements for your engine. Both of these types of places thrive on upsells of high margin products that are not the best value to the consumer. Sport Motoring was founded on the old fashioned premise of providing a great product at a great value to its customers. At Sport Motoring we go to great lengths to ensure that we provide a correct and complete diagnosis of your vehicles problem. We do a comprehensive inspection on your car almost every time it is in for service to ensure that you are always informed about any existing or brewing conditions with your car. Then, we present all of our findings to you through an easy to understand conversation and answer any questions that you may have; giving you the option to be involved in deciding the proper way to care for your car based on your needs. We then use this information to provide you with a complete and accurate estimate of the cost to repair; our estimates are accurate and very seldom require any modification after your approval. We also provide tires; installed by highly skilled technicians at a price that is competitive with the big box stores so that you don't have to experience "the up-sell". We tend to stay away from menu based pricing for most things and we verify interval based maintenance items before recommending them. I've always had a passion of this work; I took my first job in a shop as a teenager as a way to get assistance with my first car and to make a little pocket money. In that first job, I found my passion and was fortunate enough to be working with someone that instilled in me the importance of doing the job right! With the addition of our second location, Sport Motoring - Hapeville; my son, Cody Sparks, joined our business and manages this location and we have now added a third Sport Motoring - Santa Rosa Beach location to serve the folks on the Emerald Coast. Our Decatur, Georgia location provides services for Mini Cooper and BMW vehicles and our Hapeville and Santa Rosa Beach Locations provide services for BMW, Mini Cooper, Porsche, Audi, VW, Mercedes, Jaguar, Rover, Lexus, Infiniti, Acura and others.
