My oldest has outgrown her 50cc (first picture) and now we're in the market for a 125 like you see in the second picture. So I'm both selling the 50 and throwing my net out there to see if anyone has a 125 they're looking sell. Looking for something 2000 and newer Honda/Kawi/Suzuki and near Iowa. It's a long shot, but I figure I throw it out there before I buy one from a stranger off Marketplace. And let me know if you're interested in the PW-50 - it's a great bike, she loved it. They grow up too quickly. don'tja know. 😭
P.S. - I'll probably have to put the street tires back on the 'ol Sport Cruiser and get myself a proper dirt bike so I can keep up with her now! 😛

Every once in a while I'll finish a big project, and before the next one is wheeled up, a Big Rearrange happens. Everything gets pulled off the lift, a bunch of cleaning happens, and then the projects are wheeled back up. I sort them by proximity to the toolbox, with the scheduled appointment and the next most pressing project being closest. This is a good task for today's cool, rainy, slow and quiet Sunday morning. I'll be all prepped for the upcoming week!

This 2002 Cruiser needed an engine transplant after 125,000 miles. I had this 100" engine (Generation 2005-2007) laying around waiting for a good project, so it was a match made in heaven. I'll share out the details of the build on my website once she's all polished off.
Here's to the next hundred thousand!

Years ago I had the wiring diagrams enlarged, printed off, and laminated at the local copy store. This is very helpful for me! I use this 2004-2007 a lot and it's always close at hand when I'm sorting through wiring jobs on one of those years.

This 17XCT came to me in typical condition. Looks good from twenty feet away, until you dig deeper and see the former owner had outfitted the bike with some goofy aftermarket crap and had little regard to maintenance. About the only thing right the old owner did was to keep all the stock parts and include them with the sale.
So the new owner had it (and the spare parts) shipped across the country for me to straighten out. First thing I did was to strip off the terrible aftermarket exhaust that was hastily scabbed to the bike. I went back to the stock headpipe and then slipped Bassani DNT mufflers on the end. The engine was then outfitted with Lloydz 501 cams and filter and retuned with a Maximus. Note the attached dyno graph where you can see the 30hp gain!
Then I went through the rest of the bike. New fuel filter, rebuild the forks, flush the brake fluid, straightened out the rear suspension which had been poorly modified. Lastly, the customer picked out a new set of handlebars which I fitted up. All in all it was a very typical project for me that I was happy to do, knowing how much better the bike was going to be for it's new owner!

I've got a few, new, sets of Bassani "DNT" slipons here for sale. Fits all and only Cross bikes. All the sets I have left are chrome ($850 shipped) except this set which I brought down to my coatings guy who Cerakote'd it. I'm asking $1050 shipped for it. Brand new, never installed. I left the tip chrome, but we could change that. Always call me, everything is over the phone here at The Vic Shop. 515-339-4313, never any messaging service.
